Move and Delivery Checklist

The following items listed below need to be completed and returned to the property manager in order to approve your reservation with the elevator. All items are described in detail in the Move/Delivery Application, and must be turned in five (5) business days before your scheduled move time. Please let the property mananger know if you have any questions or how they can be of more assistance.

  • Resident Registration Form – This form is only for move-ins and not applicable for deliveries or move-outs.

  • Lease Agreement – Please provide the Lease Agreement if you “are” or “have” a new tenant. Please include the term dates your tenant is to stay in the unit. Not applicable for deliveries or move-outs.

  • Move/Delivery Application – Please read, fully complete, and return all pages. Please be reminded that all moves may only occur Monday through Saturday 8am-5pm. Sunday and Legal Holidays are reserved for the quiet enjoyment of the community.

  • Evidence of Property and Liability Insurance - This insurance must list the building as additionally insured. Please include as written Crown Bay Owners Association: 350 K St. San Diego, CA 92101.

  • Moving Company’s Certificate of Insurance - A certificate of insurance will need to be provided if you will be hiring a professional moving company. The COI must be $1,000,000 for General Liability and $1,000,000 for Workers Comp, with the building listed as additionally insured. Please include as written Crown Bay Owners Association: 350 K St. San Diego, CA 92101. If you are not using a Professional Moving Company, please disregard this section.

  • Moving Company Acknowledgment Form - This form is to help your Moving Company understand and agree to Crown Bay’s move guidelines and protocols to prevent damage to the Association. If you are not using a professional moving company, please disregard this section.

  • Security Deposit - $250 (REFUNDABLE)

  • Move Fee - $100 (NON-REFUNDABLE) - The Deposit and Move Fee must be from the homeowner or property management company and not the tenant by two separate checks; written out to Crown Bay Owners Association. These must be turned in five (5) business days before your scheduled move time to 1133 Columbia Street, Suite 106 San Diego, CA 92101. You may mail the deposit as long as it arrives five (5) business days before your scheduled move time. If you would like to drop off the check in person, this may be done by appointment only. The deposit will be sent to our corporate office to be cashed, then refunded after the move is complete, and the elevator post inspection report has come back clear. The Move Fee is non-refundable.

  • Security Deposit Refund Form – Please let us know where to return your security deposit to.

For any reason if you are not able to provide a check we may charge the security deposit and/or move fee through the home owner’s HOA account as long as we receive written authorization. If you are a new home owner this option is not available.
